So those of you who have been with me since the beginning, KNOW I have a serious thing about fragrance. I LOVE IT. Its my favorite sense and the sense that moves me the most emotionally.
Every scent from delicious food cooking to nostalgic scents from Bath and Body Works evoke deep memories for me. Some happy, some sad. But they allow me to love myself a little bit more.
If you know me, then you know I was bound to make a perfume. Nothing completes an outfit like a perfume. Nothing makes you feel more seen than when someone says, "You smell SO good!" Its a top tier compliment.
Its been something I've wanted to do for awhile, (since launching the Mist My Body Essence Sprays!) but the how didn't come til about a year ago. After researching the proper and most luxurious bases that truly hold the scent, I found my sources and wanted to give yall something every season to wear. Something that matched the season. If I am being honest, it was my allergies. At some point, I had to be honest about what I was allowing myself to be put through that was causing the constant sinus issues. At one point, I was offering 50+ scents in our 7 different body products plus the scents for the hair products. I started narrowing it down over and over and over til we got to here. ONE per season...Cause that's truly all you need. I used to collect bath and bodyworks sprays. I had HUNDREDS. And knowing yall, you had hundreds too! And now I chose a job that had me smelling scents ALL DAY LONG. I needed to cut down on all the scents I was inhaling ALL DAY LONG. Cutting all the fragrance I was inhaling down, two surgeries, and daily nasal rinses have helped tremendously. I know you guys miss all the options, but ya girl had to stay alive!
