Hello Beautiful Thinkers!
I hope wherever you are, Spring is making its way to you. Here in MS, we are having the cool mornings but warms up nicely to mild 80s. I wish it could stay forever.
Anyway, I'm putting a pause on the Bougie Body Playlist to pay homage to someone that I have always wanted to honor but couldn't find the emotional readiness for it. Most of you guys know that my relationship with my mother has been the primary wound of my existence and since her death in 2000, I have been working on healing this wound so not to allow my past experience with her define who I am as a mother or keep me from growing. I believe my nervous system will allow it. I recently mentioned in a video on IG that I wanted to bring a scent back that was one of my mother's favorite. It is also one of the most memorable to me from when I was very young. That's how deeply this scent impacted me. I can still smell it to this day. It was Sheer Freesia by Bath and Body Works. The one that was in the Pleasures line. I LOVED THAT SCENT. That's my mama!

I have searched for a dupe of it but none of them was the true scent so you know what I had to do! Create it. And I think I have. I'm gonna call this one On My Mama.
I would have loved to called it by her actual name, but I think she might get me in my dreams because she DID NOT like her name. She thought it was country, lol. Either way, this scent is a beautiful scent and I think she would be pleased to wear it, if she were here to celebrate it with me. This scent will be available May 1st and all month long, however we have some special bundles coming up just for Mother's Day.
In addition to that, I will be honoring two other women that have shaped my life as a mother figure and that is my Mother In Law, Geneva. And then of course, Cirrias. Cirrias was more of a mother/friend/sister figure in my life and truly the 5 years I knew her were some of the best years of my life as she help me start this journey of healing my mother wound. I love and miss her SO MUCH! Every single day.
More information about each scent will come available throughout this week until the launch. But they will be incredible, per usual.
